History
2A was born in 1974 as a small zamak die-casting foundry integrated in the zippers production department of the mother company: roughly ten years later, the company started to sell its own casting technology to the national automotive industry and to Telecom and computer application. In order to follow the growing Customers demand, whom where asking for bigger parts made by aluminium alloys, in 1989 2A bought 4 different foundries and consolidated them. Today, 2A is the first aluminium die-casting foundry in its region and owns the biggest existing die-casting press worldwide and starts to have a global presence.
Company
2A is a young and innovative die-casting foundry oriented and specialized
in the development and production of components for the automotive
and domestic industries, especially in the field of compressors.
Within the automotive industry, is deserving the major car and truck
producers located in Italy, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, Sweden
and USA.
2A is a complete die-casting partner: can produce pieces from few
grams up to 40 Kg, machine, paint, test and assemble them and usually
develops and industrializes the products together with the customer
on a partnership relation. The machining and assembling departments
enable 2A to deliver complete functions, ready to be assembled by
the final customers.
The presence of the Politecnico di Torino (the engineering university
of Turin) and of the biggest European automotive factory network
gives 2A the availability of the competencies necessary to answer
to almost all the requests of its Customers.
2A aims to become THE die-casting partner of its customers thanks
to its competences and wide machine park.

The global strategy
2A is aiming to follow the globalisation policy, answering to the needs of its Customers all over the World. 2A started to launch the activities in China and Russia and has signed JV in India and Brasil.
